Usually I get a chance to meet my couples before the wedding day but Bec & Broc booked a bit last minute so we had met until their wedding day. From all my emails with Bec I knew how lovely she was but I wasn’t sure how they’d found me. When I walked into the boys getting ready room, I immediately recognised one of the guys as a groomsman from a previous wedding. Turns out he’d recommended to Bec & Broc which I appreciate so much (especially coming from a completely random groomsman!).
The best thing about Tamborine Gardens weddings is that you don’t have to go offsite anywhere at any point. There’s beautiful little cabins to get ready in, there’s a nice ceremony space and a chapel as a wet weather option and the grounds are stunning so no need to go anywhere external for your portraits. It makes for an easy, stress-free day!
Turns out these guys were absolute legends and so fun to work with. Bec’s Mum used to be a hairdresser so did both Bec and her sister’s hair which was a lovely getting ready environment. Her Mum also made the cake – what a talented lady! The ceremony was so special – Bec was all teary being walked down the aisle by her Dad. Funnily enough, Bec put Broc’s ring on the wrong hand and no one noticed until much later!
These guys didn’t have a bridal party so they got to spend time with their guests at canapés straight after their ceremony before we walked around the grounds doing portraits for about half an hour before they entered the reception. Enjoy a little peek into a beautiful day!
