Monique & Dylan’s City Winery Wedding
You know my favourite thing about weddings? If you want, you can do whatever you damn well please! And that’s exactly what Monique & Dylan did for their City Winery wedding.
Mon & Dylan didn’t want to have a big gap between their ceremony and reception and miss all the fun (amd let’s face it, SNACKS) that happen in that time at beautiful City Winery. So they could transition quickly from ceremony to reception we did their couple photos beforehand. Mon was getting ready down by Howard Smith Wharves so we had the perfect backdrop for a few photos before heading to Fish Lane in South Brisbane for some shots with the street art along there.
Being big lovers of beer (they’re speaking my language!), Mon & Dylan booked a little window table at a favourite bar of theirs, Saccharomyces, so they could stop off for a drink and get some candid shots while there. How good is accomodating something fun that you both love in your wedding photos?!!
Arriving at City Winery for the ceremony at sunset, everyone was there, drink in hand, and there was already a great party atmosphere. The delightful Married by Jacki was ready to do the marrying and the space had been beautiful decorated with Garden Graffiti’s incredible florals.
After the ceremony, we did some quick family photos and Mon & Dylan were back to join the party 10 minutes later. Lots of fun speeches, lots of drinks and lots of epic cake (from the supremely talented Confetti Cake Co) rounded out the night.
Enjoy this colourful and happy celebration!
