I met Tammy & Elliott at a wedding I’d done the previous year. Elliott was a groomsman at that wedding and it turned out I had a couple of connections with Tammy as well. When they told me they were having a Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens wedding I was pretty excited. The last time I did a Bundaleer wedding it was unfortunately raining so we didn’t get to take advantage of the beautiful surrounds so I was really happy when we ended up with a lovely and clear (but unseasonably hot) day.

Tammy & Elliott chose the spot under the big jacaranda tree for their ceremony. Bundaleer also has a second ceremony spot down by the river so there can be two weddings held there on one day.

One great thing about Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens weddings is that you don’t need to go anywhere offsite for photos! It’s all walking distance from where your ceremony and reception are held. We did bridal party shots under the canopy of trees (including some chickens stealing the spotlight) and then used the surrounding paddocks for photos of Tammy & Elliott on their own.

Tammy did an incredible job of organising such beautiful decorations for the reception. LOTS of fresh green foliage and plenty of lovely, well thought out details including a succulent as a gift for each guest.

How incredible is this cake from Milkmaid Cakes!

We stepped out of the reception very briefly to do some fun night time portraits. It’s totally worth the quick trip outside!
