What are your prices and packages?

Packages start at $2,000 and all include edited, high-resolution files ready to be printed. The packages differ based on the hours of coverage that you need. Engagement shoots and albums are optional extras.

You will receive all of the photos that I carefully select and edit on a wooden USB. The number of images depends on hours of coverage and the size of the wedding (generally between 400 – 1000). The files are sized for print (so you can print as many photos as you like at any size) and also for web and social media use. You also receive a password-protected online gallery that you can easily share with family & friends which makes it easy for them to relive the day no matter where they live.

How do we know which package is the right number of hours for our wedding day?

My packages are customisable so we can choose exactly the number of hours you need to capture all the most important parts of the day. We’ll chat about your priorities when we meet up and I can help you work out a timeline for the day so we can clearly see how many hours you’ll need me there for. Simple!

How long after the wedding will we receive our photos?

I know how excited you’ll be to see your photos so I always try to get a sneak peek to you within a few days. I’ll have the full gallery to you within 6 weeks of your wedding date.

Can we meet you?

Yes, I’d love to meet up, make sure we’re a great fit and get to know you guys so you’re super comfortable with me by the time the wedding day rolls around. If meeting up in person isn’t possible because you’re based interstate or overseas, we can chat over Skype or FaceTime.

How far in advance should we book?

Couples usually book 6 – 12 months in advance, however I take on a limit of 30 weddings each year in order to make sure that I look after each of my couples to the best of my ability. It’s best to get in touch as soon as you lock in a date with your venue to be sure.

How do we book?

Once we’ve had a chance to meet up and work out which package suits your day, the booking process is super easy – a 30% deposit and a contract secures the date for you.

Help! We feel super awkward about being in front of the camera. Can you help us to relax?

Yes, that’s a huge part of my job! I’ll give you enough direction so that you’re not completely lost with what to do with your limbs, without posing you in a position that’s so unnatural to you that you can’t even see yourself in the photo when you look at it later. An engagement shoot can also be really helpful for those of you who are camera shy.

Where can we see a selection of your work?

Well, I would definitely recommend that you start by checking out the Gallery Page to get a feel for my work and then head over to my Wedding Blog to dive a bit deeper into some individual, full weddings.

We’d love to have a wedding album. Can we see a sample beforehand?

You sure can! I’ll bring samples of the fine art albums I provide with me when we meet up.

Is an engagement shoot a good idea? And can we bring our dog?

YES to both those questions! An engagement shoot gives us a chance to hang out, get to know each other better and for you to get used to how I work. Having a chance to work out the nerves of being in front of the camera is super helpful plus you get beautiful photos of just you two! And please bring your dog if you have one (or more!) because they’re part of the family too…and I just really love getting puppy cuddles while I’m working.

Where are you based & do you charge a travel fee?

I’m based in Brisbane and happily travel to the Sunshine Coast, the Gold Coast and many areas west of the coast for no additional cost. Basically anywhere within a 2 hour drive!

How about destination weddings? What are your additional costs?

I happily travel interstate and overseas to cover weddings. The only additional costs will be the return airfare and 2 nights accommodation somewhere basic, such as a private room in an airbnb.

Do you know a good florist / make-up artist / musician etc?

Hell yeah I do! I’ve worked with so many amazing wedding vendors around South East Queensland. I’ve also come across a few duds too so I’m happy to recommend people who I know for sure do their thing very well. Just let me know which vendors you’re still looking for.

Can you help us to work out what time to start our ceremony/reception/drunk dancing?

Absolutely! I’m more than happy to help you work out timings for the day. Having been to so many weddings I have a very good idea of how long different parts of the day will actually take. We can talk through all this and work out what time is best to start your ceremony based around your priorities for the day.

Do you photograph LGBT weddings?

Of course! I strongly believe anyone in love has the right to marry and really hope Australian law is updated soon!

Do you work with a second photographer?

I photograph the majority of weddings on my own and find I can easily cover everything by myself however if you’d really like to have a second photographer we can absolutely arrange that. Luckily I know several very talented wedding photographers in Brisbane who are fabulous to work with.

Have you ever cancelled a booking or not shown up to a wedding?

No, never. I do have back up plans in place in the very unlikely event that I’m too ill to photograph your wedding.

Kirsty has an incredibly calming presence which my husband and I appreciated as we’re a little camera shy. I love love love how Kirsty captured our wedding and cannot stop looking at the photos. Our guests at the wedding are still talking about Kirsty and how lovely she is, she even got down and had a boogie on the dance floor!!
